Storm damage? Insurance claim?

Insurance may cover damage to your roof, depending on your policy. Whether you file a claim is always your choice. We'll inspect your roof, show you what we found with photos, and give you a straight repair price. From there, you decide:

  • Pay directly. Often the simplest route for smaller repairs.
  • File a claim. We'll give you a written report with photos to share with your insurer.
  • Either way: temporary tarping if needed, and the same complete, lasting repair.

“Joe was on site each day.” That's how we work.

No ROC customer complaints. Here's what homeowners say, in their own words.

★★★★★
I got several quotes to have the underlayment replaced on a concrete tile roof. Joe matched one of the quotes but upgraded the materials he used and the workmanship involved. … His no leak warranty was far better than any of the other quotes.

Questions

Roofing questions, answered

If my roof leaks, do I need a whole new roof?

Usually not. Unless the roof is at the end of its life, we typically only need to repair the affected area. The roof is then good to go for the rest of its lifespan. We'll tell you honestly which situation you're in.

How long do roofs last in Arizona?

It depends on the material. Asphalt shingles typically last 20–30 years. Tile itself can last 50 years or more, but the underlayment beneath it usually needs attention sooner because of the heat. Other materials can last even longer with regular maintenance.

How can I tell if my roof needs to be replaced?

Watch for:

  • Dark patches or bald spots on shingles
  • Curling, cracked, or missing shingles or tiles
  • Sagging or drooping areas
  • Repeated leaks in different spots

If you see any of these, call us for an inspection.

Will insurance cover my roof damage?

It depends on your policy and what caused the damage. Insurance may cover some storm or hail damage, but your insurance company makes that decision. Filing a claim is your choice. After we inspect, we'll give you a repair price so you can decide whether to pay directly or file. If you do file, we can give you a written inspection report with photos to share with your insurer. For coverage questions, talk to your insurance agent.

What's the best type of roof for my home?

It depends on your home and budget. Asphalt shingles offer great value for price and performance. Tile costs more but lasts much longer and suits Arizona's climate and architecture. Flat roofs need a membrane or coating system. We'll walk you through the options during your free estimate.

How long does it take to replace a roof?

An asphalt shingle roof can be installed in as little as a day or two. Tile and larger jobs take longer, up to a week or more depending on size.
